This unit focuses on formalising our curiosity in Science.
As budding scientists it is pivotal that students are able to ask questions that are testable and conduct experiments in ways that are replicable. Students will learn to gather results accurately and draw logical conclusions with reference to scientific theory.
Target audience: Junior Science
This unit aims to educate students about the significant events that occurred leading up to and during The Cold War.
Students will also learn about the ideologies of the time, world super powers and complete a variety of global and local case studies.
Target Audience: Middle School History
This unit centres around the building blocks of creative writing.
Students will learn narrative structure, characterisation, settings, descriptive language and how to develop dialogue.
Through a variety of activities students will be able to unleash their imagination and have fun experimenting with story writing.
Target audience: Junior English
This unit focuses on the concept of sustainable urban living.
Students will learn about eco friendly materials, sustainable building practices and cities that are models for the future.
Students have the opportunity to design their own sustainable community or home.
